WristPark legal

Privacy Policy

WristPark is designed around a local-first parking workflow. This policy explains what the phone app, Garmin watch app, and this website use to provide that workflow.

Effective July 17, 2026 · Last updated July 17, 2026

1. Parking data stays on your devices

Parking locations, parking history, fee preferences, map preferences, and copies of watch settings are stored locally on your phone or watch. WristPark does not upload that parking data to a cloud service operated by us.

2. Location access

The watch uses location access to record a parking position. The phone can use location access to show your current position, calculate an approximate distance and direction, and help you navigate back. You can manage location permission in the operating system settings. GPS results vary with buildings, weather, satellite visibility, and device hardware.

3. Garmin watch sync

Parking information and settings can travel between the selected watch and phone through Garmin Connect Mobile and the Connect IQ companion communication channel. Garmin processes that connection under its own terms and privacy practices.

4. Purchases

Apple or Google and RevenueCat process purchase status and an anonymous app user identifier so WristPark can offer purchases, restore access, and verify WristPark Pro. WristPark does not receive your complete payment-card details. Storefront prices, trials, renewals, and refunds are handled under the applicable store rules.

5. Maps and navigation

The in-app map uses Apple MapKit on iOS and OpenStreetMap-based map tiles on Android. When you start external navigation, WristPark passes the destination coordinates and a parking label to the map app you choose. That provider then handles the request under its own policy.

6. Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 only after you select “Allow analytics.” It can measure page visits and interactions with download buttons, along with general browser and device information. Website analytics never include your saved parking locations or app parking history. You can decline analytics or reopen Analytics preferences from the footer.

7. Your controls and retention

  • Delete individual parking records from History.
  • Manage location and Bluetooth permissions in system settings.
  • Change the preferred map app or ask every time.
  • Uninstall the app to remove data stored in its local app storage.
  • Use the footer to change the website analytics preference.

8. Children

WristPark is a parking utility for drivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use the app to collect personal information from children.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as WristPark changes. The effective date above will show when the policy was revised. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
